Short list of 'Recent Stuff Going On In My Life'

· I've been decorating my new room. I found a store in the city with super nice stuff like those dead butterflies I've always wanted. They had a beautiful dark blue butterfly that was like 500 euro TT-TT

· Because I've become so poor I can't even buy food, I had to ask my parents for money today. It was super embarrassing. Of course I do have to pay them back by the end of the month ;-;

· I've decided to cut my bangs again! ^o^ I've been trying to grow them out for months and they're now at some sort of middle length but I'm giving up and going to cut them today.

· My internship at Schiphol is going ok. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I still don't know what to do after graduation.

· I can keep my old room at my parents' house but I'm only going back there when it's absolutely necessary.

· I finally finished reading A Game of Thrones!

And now some random images that I'm using as inspiration for my room n_n

obligatory song at the end of the post

  1. Wow, maybe you shouldn't concentrate on your room so much and just buy your basic necessities! I know that growing out bangs dilemma, grr! Maybe during your internship they will offer you a job? I hear that happens a lot of times! A guy from my old school was working somewhere during his internship and he then got offered a job. So even if he doesn't finish his study, he can still work!

Are those butterflies real? All those piccies looked very lovely, even though the one with the arrows creeped me out a bit, haha.

OMG FINALLY I heard that song once somewhere but it didn't state the artist and song but nau I finally know!

I was clicking on random related vids and ended up listening to Puff the magic dragon? XD

    1. But my money spending priorities are:
      1 huur
      2 eten
      3 dingetjes voor mijn kamer
      4 bus/trein/metro
      5 boeken
      6 sparen voor japan
      7 kleding
      :D

They might offer a job to a few interns next year but there are at least 20 other interns who are more motivated than me, and in the sky there is no chance to get a job at all at least not at KLC/KLM until 2014. So I'd have to try another airline..

Yes they are real butterflies, I've always wanted them they are so~ beautiful :D I looked on etsy and some of them are not that expensive everywhere n_n

lol I love puff the magic dragon because SuJu covered it XD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8cDstw2K48

    3. Yes! I forgot to mention I was watching the live suju vid you send me of twins or happiness and then at the related I saw puff the magic dragon xD it was so cute that that guy 'dressed up' like a baby xD

I hope you can find something fun or at least PAYING to do once you graduate <3 Maybe you can do hbo then? And if you wait for another year then we both can do hbo 8) xxx

    4. Yes~ I want to do hbo at the same school with you :D I already have to wait another year anyway because my internship ends in okt and new opleidingen start in sept :3 Xxx

Or just work work work in the meantime til it's August again ^-^ What do you want to study at hbo btw? I was thinking history or languages, but apparently there isn't history at hbo. Also I was thinking after my propedeuse I want to do wo *o*

    1. yeah work and travel, that's why I want to go to japan that summer n_n I wanted to study history or art history but you can't really get a job in that other than be a teacher and I don't want to be a teacher. So now I'm thinking about geestelijke gezondheidszorg because there is enough work in gezondheidszorg right now but maybe it will be too difficult for me.. ._.; And I didn't know you were interested in history that much! *o* Xxx

    2. Just like languages I think history is a beautiful vak! The problem with me is that I'm never motivated to pick up a book and read, so I need to change that n_n; I just dislike it that most of the history we have to learn is always about war war and war. I disliked kunst geschiedenis btw. It's pretty and all, maar het boeit me niet n_n; And yeah, all you can become with it is a teacher. You can try though for the gezondheidszorg thing, and if it really is too difficult then stop in the beginning of the year? Usually people who read a lot are smart people and as far as I know (or at least the image of you in my head) you read a lot! xx

p.s. you do know with gezondheidszorg you need to be with people a lot and you know, you need to be social, so I'm just saying ^-^ So if you dislike interacting with others don't do it! But if you want to work on it then go for it!

    3. Uhm no I am not smart, at all XD I did vmbo-tl and still had bad grades, I almost didn't graduate o_o and I can't concentrate on anything (even on things I like like reading and movies) people from havo/vwo/etc usually consider me dumb ;-;

Yeah I know but I can't think of a job where you don't have to interact with people, and it's not like communication is the most important thing like it is here at schiphol.. The only thing I absolutely cannot deal with is deadlines x_x

    4. I have that too (sometimes I can't even concentrate on the things I really love u.u). But I do have the will and curiosity to do things and I assume you have too ^o^

Yeah, that's the problem indeed. With almost everything you need to be in contact with people. You know, with the laboratorium opleiding you don't necessarily need to work with customers, but you do have colleages, but you stay behind the scenes~ (plus they don't care if you look alternative or whatever). I dislike deadlines too T_T

    5. yeah, I get why there need to be deadlines and all but I just can't get stuff done on time ;-; when I did graphic design there was a deadline for EVERYTHING so whenever I was working on a project I was stressed and that made things so much more difficult >_> and I never did get it finished on time =_=

  3. Ooohwah. I love the butterflies too, but i dislike the fact that they have to be killed first. D:<
I'd rather have them die naturally... But that would be annoying, to go searching for dead butterflies. XD

I WANNA MOVE OUT TOOOOOO. I am on the waiting list but it will take half a year up to a year. T_T i am already thinking of how to decorate and stuff. Terrible right? XD

Good luck with all your needs!

    1. Omg I thought they usually die naturally? D: how do they kill them without damaging their wings?

    2. From what i understand, i THINK that they use poison or something. But i am not sure... I think they go out with butterfly nets and then put them in jars and then... i don't know what happens. You should look it up though.

Hahaha, i MIGHT be going to StadionBuurt in Amsterdam Zuid. And i don't know yet XD Me and my mum were talking about furniture XD I think it has to be light and stuff, cos when i leave i have to leave everything as it was.. So i guess i won't be painting my walls black ;)
